Nick Page, Songleader
Songleader Nick Page, who has lead sing-alongs throughout world, is known for his powerful, entertaining and meaningful work in group singing. He will be joined by the College of DuPage Chamber Singers – Lee Kesselman, Director. Concert is open to anyone who wants to experience the transformative nature of group singing. Page is no stranger to the Chicago area, with many appearances in the city and suburbs. This will be his third visit to the MAC, and is a sequel to last year’s singalong with the legendary Alice Parker.
Nick Page is a Boston based composer, conductor and author who is best known for his song leading. He was the conductor with the Emmy Award-winning Chicago Children’s Choir in the 80s. Since then, he has led Boston’s Mystic Chorale and guest conducted around the word including at three of the four Carnegie Halls (Pittsburgh, New York, and Scotland). Page’s choral works have premiered from Lincoln Center to humble school cafitoriums. He is the author of three books and has close to one hundred published choral pieces.
