MAC Giving Tree is taking donations for People’s Resource Center and Metropolitan Family Services DuPage from Nov. 25 – Dec. 19.

People’s Resource Center
Audience members are invited to bring one or two non-perishable food items to support the MAC’s food drive for the People’s Resource Center. The People’s Resource Center food pantry serves more than 3,000 families from across DuPage County each month. For more information about the People’s Resource Center visit peoplesrc.org. Suggested items include:

  • Canned Goods – fruits, veggies & soups (especially low-sodium), peanut butter, tuna, beans, chicken, chili, stew
  • Whole Grains – whole wheat pasta, brown rice, cereal
  • Household Items – disposable diapers, bar soap, toothpaste, shampoo, toilet paper, laundry detergent

Metropolitan Family Services
MAC is also participating in a gift item collection for Metropolitan Family Services DuPage to benefit Teens and Seniors. Metropolitan Family Services empowers families to learn, to earn, to heal, to thrive. Part mentor, part motivator, part advocate, Metropolitan Family Services provides a wide variety of programs and services designed to strengthen families and help them realize their full potential.   • Winter Items – gloves, hats, slippers, hoodies, pajama pants, robes
  • Gift Cards – big box store gift cards and pharmacy gift cards
