New Philharmonic

New Philharmonic Music Director & Conductor Kirk Muspratt is the recipient of the 2018 Illinois Council of Orchestras’ Conductor of the Year award!

 

If you haven’t yet experienced the MACs own professional orchestra, you don’t know what you’ve been missing! Proud to call the College of DuPage home for four decades, the New Philharmonic combines extraordinary talent with moving musical pieces that ignite the stage and leave audiences raving.

Throughout the season, you’ll find a diverse selection of orchestral programming from custom musical scores to timeless classics, Broadway favorites to ballets and operas, solo performances to grand scale events even starlight outdoor summer concerts. Just one note and you’ll feel it’s the enthusiasm is contagious!

Regarded as Beethoven’s greatest work, “Ode to Joy” is a melody familiar to all. The orchestra is joined by four vocalists and the 100-voice Northwest Indiana Symphony Chorus.
